It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Family Fun Goal: Visit a Beach

The best part of this beach is that we almost have it to ourselves! It is on famous Cororando Island - but on one of the military bases there. Because we visited with my Brother-in-law, Sister, nephew, we could use this little piece of paradise. It was cold, windy, and a lot of fun! (Bonus: It was FREE and all the sand went into my sister's car and house and not mine!)

It took Nan about 1 second to get into the water. Jo needed a little longer to warm up.

Uncle Vic and Nan didn't seem to notice the cold. There were unusually large waves so only body surfing was allowed this day. Just a few yards away a dolphin kept popping up to check on these two!

Eventually Jo did get into that cold water BUT was unhappy that she had to hold an adult's hand. (Like I shared, it was a rough day on the water so she didn't have a choice.) I love her cold expression in this picture!
