It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Elf Party Prep

The award certificates are printed.

The candy corn are counted.

The gum is bought but not yet chewed.

The noodles are dyed. (Yes, noodles! They are  for the sensory table this year. Last year I used rice and we are still finding it....)
For Real: We don't really clean for the Elf Party anymore. We instead hide stuff and child proof. There is usually about 25+ kids and as typical parties go, parents talk and kids play....

Will we see you there?

  1. I don't believe in cleaning before parties either. I figure just invite lots of people and within 15 minutes they'll think any mess was just created by them. And you'll have to clean AFTER the party anyway! ;)

And how I would love to come to your Elf party!! Trying to decide whether to copy you again this year or not. . .and if we do, should we do it it with old friends in MO or new friends in IA?? hmmmmmmmm
