It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

JoJo's 3rd Birthday Party

This past weekend was party time! We had a very small gathering of family and friends over to celebrate Jo's 3rd Birthday. Just like her big sister, she is not content to let me do the planning...she wanted to help. So every part of the party had at least some of her ideas, choices, and even some of her handiwork!

Jo's favorite meal is breakfast especially waffles. That is exactly what we served!

In addition to a waffle bar, lots of bacon & sausage, breakfast casserole, and Dora yogurts there was lots and lots of fresh fruit. (Her favorite!)

A pinata with lots of candy! (She even helped me stuff it!)

JoJo Buckets....along the same lines as Bozo Buckets. It turns out our kids don't know who Bozo even is!

Jo picked out this Dora cookie cake and the orange frosting color. I am sure the lady at the story thought I was crazy since I asked Jo like 10 times, "Are you sure you want orange frosting and not pink?" Guess what, the orange looked super. She was right!

Celebrating with her Meme & Papa.

Celebrating with her Nana & Papa.

Cuddling with Auntie Sherry and Diego

This year we allowed her to invite two friends. One of her friends, Zoe, helps her unwrap her presents.

Giving her other best friend, Asher, a thank-you hug. The next day we celebrated Asher's 3rd birthday. So they are also Birthday Buddies!

Great Grandma Fuzzy even made the long trip to help us celebrate!
