It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Our Sensory Table today.

Our sensory table today had some flower dissection. It is just what is left of JoJo's flower arrangement (from HERE), butter knives, some small dishes, magnify glasses, and a hand-me down microscope that has been carried around and used so much by little people that it doesn't really work that well anymore. (It's okay, it is fun to get some hands-on experience and Nan received a new one for Christmas.) Within 5 minutes of setting it out this morning, the flowers were all missing! Jo had carried them to her room and arranged them (hidden!) in dixie cups from the bathroom because she couldn't bear to let them get "used up". When I showed her how to cut one in half and see what was inside, she let out a "oooh!" Rushing up to her room, she brought the rest down to massacre dissect.
