It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

We are getting ready to go on a road trip so last night we headed to the store as a family to pick out snacks. A few things are off: one they didn't have any of those butter cookies that are in the shape of a ring or BBQ kettle chips so we had to make some substitutions. Otherwise we have Beef Jerky Pringles, Honey Roasted peanuts, Red Vines (no twizzlers please!), Fig Newtons, Crackers with cheese or pb, Swedish Fish, Gummy Colas, Sour Airhead strips, Orange Tic Tacs, Sunflower seeds, Special K Strawberry Crisps, and Snack Mix. I am aware that there are absolutely no fruits or vegetables in this pile! We are driving over 1600 miles with a three-year old, so don't judge! :) So what are your Must-have Road Trip Snacks?
