This truly was a FAMILY fun goal: we went with my folks and my sister's family! There aren't any pictures from the actual float trip because no one wanted to loose their camera or phone. As it was, the only person who lost something was Nan. She lost her pants...ummm, she was wearing a suit but still, let's make fun of her that.
We thought we thought the trip was only going to last 2 hours so for all of us we only took a small sunblock and 2 bottles of water. The trip took 4 1/2 hours! We were so tired. We were so thirsty! We were so hungry! We finally got off that river and ate everything we had in the van!
We used Clements Canoes for our float trip. I know that water level changes can make it difficult to plan. I called and someone in the office was very helpful in helping me plan a trip that was just right for the 3 generations of our family.
