It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Please pray for the programs who host children out of Ukr*ine. A bad decision was made by one family in one of the programs that could affect whether Ukr*ine will continue hosting to America or not. For most of these kids, hosting is the only thing that will keep them from becoming one of the horrible statistics we read about. Today (Thursday) is the pivotal day to be in prayer.
Today is also N*dya's birthday. N*dya is N*stya's older sister, who we hope can come with her Christmas. We sent her a gift but have already heard from the company that they will not be able to deliver it today as scheduled. I have messaged her today but I still really wanted for her to have a tangible thing to know she is loved and celebrated today.
Di*na, who we hosted 3 years ago, messaged this week, sharing her concerns about the war. She constantly asks us to come and get her.
I see these things weighing heavy on my husband. I feel them heavy on my heart. Will you join us in prayer for not only this hosting situation and "our" girls but also the entire country of Ukr*ine?
