It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Winter Hosting Day 11

This was the girls first day at church (okay, N2 has been there before) before heading back to Meme and Papa's for a second Christmas with Auntie Jill. She has a an eye for detail and frill so her packages were sparkly with huge shiny bows. The girls were "wow!" before they even opened a gift!

N1 meeting Mr. Jim. One day she will know how much of a role he played as a prayer warrior and  more in her life.

N2 went to Sunday School with Nan. N2 had to sit with us. She was a bit overwhelmed and our pastor talks sort of fast so she sort of zoned out. I looked up each Scripture and showed it to her in her Bible. She shifted from my shoulder to Michael's shoulder when we would wake her up.

Christmas with Papa: he requires us to put together this picture of the farm before he lets us open gifts each year. Here you can see him supervising!

The girls had lots of fun with Auntie Jill's pretty bows!

What could be better for supper than eating our gingerbread houses.

I think that had as much fun deconstructing as making them!
