It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Winter Hosting Day 2

Update 12/19/14 8:30am  N2 is coming! N2 is coming! N2 is coming! Praising the Lord, our appeal worked! We are awaiting more details including expensive last minute flights. If you would like to help us offset these costs, you can donate through PayPal.

We are trying several ways to stay organized. Don't these 4 totes look great. The girls can easily take them down and bring them over to the counter to use. You can't tell but they are personalized. We received these for free after Brittany held a Thirty-One Adoption Fundraiser for us. If you need any Thirty-One items, please contact her!

We spent the day grocery shopping, cooking and baking. N1 literally danced around with bacon and asked for corndogs...she is just meant to be in this family!

A first for N1 today was shopping at our local Amish grocery store and seeing all the horses and buggies as we drove.
The day also included with yet another head lice check. Although it still came back clean again, we all opted to be treated after the hosting facebook page started to fill with lice stories. Better safe than sorry!

No matter how old you are, sometimes you just need a pair of footie pajamas and to fall asleep while being read to. This is what hosting is all about: giving kids the opportunity to do the little things we all take for granted.
N2 has an appointment at the US Embassy today in her country. We had to run around and get some paperwork together this afternoon for her to take with. The results of this meeting are final!  Please continue to pray about this.
