It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Throw Back Thursday

Alison and I had our pictures taken with all the celebrities at Texas State Fair.

In another life, I lived on the third floor of Frances Crawford.

I had a roommate who was teaching herself to play the guitar, a suite mate who needed two closets for all her clothes (just the ones she brought to school), a basketball-playing friend who wandered around with ice packs tied to her shin splints, and two girls across the hall who coordinated and decorated their room so well that it should have been in some sort of magazine.

All of the above (except me, I was born above the Mason-Dixon Line) had adorable accents and an affinity for monograms.

One of us is waiting in heaven for our reunion but the rest of us have remained this week when a group message happily held us all hostage for a few days.
