It is easy to love the people far away. It is not always easy to love those close to us. It is easier to give a cup of rice to relieve hunger than to relieve the loneliness and pain of someone unloved in our own home. Bring love into your home for this is where our love for each other must start. -Mother Teresa

Pay It Forward

This past week our girls sold, made, and distributed pizzas for an adoption fundraiser. This was one day shy of a year that this same group did this fundraiser to help bring Stacey and Michelle home. How cool is that? They helped another adoptive family bring home their daughter just like that family had helped them last year!!!

Thank you to everyone who bought pizzas not just to support the family adopting but also to give my daughters a chance to serve others. They are hard workers and enjoy helping others but are still figuring out this taking care of others thing after so long of just giving their all to trying to take care of themselves. I know I have said it here before but it needs repeating: Serving others is a blessing that I often take for granted.

This family is preparing to travel NEXT MONTH to bring home their daughter, Grace, from China. They are in the final days of fundraising and have been offered a matching grant. Please check it out, donate if you can, pray for the family, and share with others!  CLICK HERE.

  3. I just now saw this. What a great time that was! I still can't believe we made 100+ pizzas in an hour!
